ingrediens

Combine all-purpose flour and melted ghee in a bowl. Knead a smooth dough with warm water. Cover and set aside.

step - 1

Heat ghee in a pan, roast dry fruits, and let them cool. Then grind into a coarse powder.

step - 2

Cook Rawa in the same pan over low heat for 6-8 minutes. Transfer it to a bowl and let it cool.

step - 3

Next, roast khoya briefly for a minute or two, and combine it with the cooled rawa. Also, roast the desiccated coconut for 2 minutes and add it to the bowl.

step - 4

Combine all the ingredients in the bowl, then add sugar, cardamom powder, and jayfal powder. Mix everything thoroughly.

step - 5

Knead the dough for a minute before use. Divide it into equal portions and roll one ball at a time.

step - 6

Shape the dough into small puris, add stuffing in the center, moisten the edges, and seal the ghughra.

step - 7

Hold the ghughra in your hand, press and pleat the edges for a design. Alternatively, use a fork to create decorative patterns.

step - 8

Heat oil for deep frying. Fry 4-5 ghughras on low flame until golden brown. Remove and place them on a paper napkin to drain excess oil.
