Blackberry Mojito Recipe

There's a reason why the mojito is a classic drink. In the peak of summer, the blackberry mojito recipe is a fantastic way to use fresh blackberries and mint.

Equipment

  • Three-Piece Cobbler Shaker with Built-In Strainer ( You can have your Shaker and Strainer Separately too.)
  • Twisted Bar Spoon with Disk Muddler
  • Straws
  • 25ml/50ml Measure

Ingredients
  

  • 8-10 Fresh blackberries
  • 6-8 Fresh mint leaves
  • 1 tbsp Fresh lime juice
  • 1-2 tbsp Simple syrup or Sugar
  • 1-2 tbsp Club soda
  • 6-8 Ice cubes

Instructions
 

  • Muddle the blackberries and mint leaves in a cocktail shaker until well combined.
  • Add the lime juice, simple syrup to the shaker and fill it with ice.
  • Shake well until chilled and strain into a glass filled with ice.
  • Top with club soda and garnish with extra mint leaves and blackberries.

Notes

  • Use fresh blackberries and mint leaves for the best flavor.
  • If you don't have simple syrup, you can make your own by dissolving equal parts of sugar and water in a pan over low heat until the sugar has completely dissolved. Let it cool before using.
  • To make a non-alcoholic version, omit the rum and add more club soda, or you can use a sprite.
