  • 1 cup Baby onions (finely chopped)
  • ½ cup Tomato (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp Ginger
  • ½ tsp Garlic
  • 1 Green chilli (finely chopped)
  • ½ tsp Cumin seeds
  • ½ tsp Coriander seeds
  • 1-2 cups Water
  • Black pepper and salt to taste

Instructions

  • Clean the small stems of drumstick or moringa leaves. Wash and soak the leaves in water for 5-10 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the floating leaves.
  • Now in a pressure cooker, add drumstick leaves, baby onions, tomatoes and water.
  • Also, add cumin seeds and coriander seeds. Add ginger, garlic and green chilli. Mix and pressure cook it for 4-5 whistles.
  • Once the cooker is cool, please open it and filter the excess water and let the leaves mixture cool.
  • Grind the mixture to a smooth paste using water. After blending again, strain the juice using the back of the spoon.
  • Discard the remaining pulp. Reheat the juice and add salt and black pepper to it.
  • Cook for a minute or two, and then serve the soup.

Notes

  • You can add 1-2 tbsp of yellow moong daal while pressure cooking the drumstick leaves.
  • Add water while blending the mixture to make it easy to filter.
  • You can use filtered water while mixing the paste instead of water.
