INGREDIENTS

– 800 ML Milk Of Your Choice – 4 tbsp Sweetened Condensed Milk

For Mango Puree

– 500 g Frozen/Fresh Mango Finely Chopped – 120 ML Water – 2 tbsp Sugar – Few Drops Of Lemon

For Toppings

– 2 to 3 Scoops Of Vanilla Ice Cream – 400 g Of Frozen/Fresh Mango Cut Into Fine Cubes – Roasted Shaved Almonds Optional – A Drizzle Of Sweetened Condensed Milk Optional

step - 1

Blending the mango, lemon, sugar, and water together in a blender until you achieve a smooth puree-like texture.

step - 2

Pour the puree into a medium saucepan. Cook over medium-high heat for 5 mins to dissolve the sugar. Proper cooking leads to a smoother, creamier texture and enhanced flavor.

step - 3

Place the mango puree into a medium-sized container and let it chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.

step - 4

In a tiny bowl, combine milk and sweetened condensed milk, ensuring a thorough mix. Transfer this blend into a resealable plastic bag, sealing it properly.

step - 5

Use a sufficiently large zip bag, allowing the milk to lie flat without exceeding 0.5 cm or 0.2 inches. This makes cracking it later much easier.

step - 6

If you're using an ice shaver, utilize the  containers for the milk and sweetened condensed milk mix. Freeze them in your refrigerator for around 4 to 5 hours.

step - 7

Once the mixture is frozen, begin breaking the frozen milk into small pieces using your hands.

step - 8

Use a rolling pin to crush the frozen milk into finer pieces. Alternatively, if an ice shaver is in use, insert the milk blocks and proceed with the process.

step -9

Grab a sizable bowl and place the shaved ice in it. Next, layer it with freshly cut mango cubes and a scoop or two of vanilla ice cream.

step -10

Pour the mango puree and add a drizzle of condensed milk. Finally, sprinkle a handful of shaved almonds over the top. Now it's ready to enjoy!
