Magnificent Amla Juice Recipe

Amla juice is a great morning drink with so many health benefits. A well-liked fruit that is a rich source of nutrients and improves overall health.

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 Medium-sized Amla or Indian gooseberry chopped
  • 1-2 tsp Ginger paste
  • 2 tsp Lemon juice
  • 2-3 cups Water
  • 2-3 tsp Honey or Sugar
  • ½ tsp Black pepper powder
  • Salt as per taste

Instructions
 

  • Rinse the amla or Indian gooseberry and remove all the wedges of the amla. Remove the seeds and separate the wedges.
  • Chop the wedges into small pieces and transfer them to a bowl. Add chopped amla, water, salt, ginger paste, black pepper powder, and honey in a mixer.
  • Blend the juice until smooth, and then pour it into a strainer over a big bowl.
  • Press and extract the juice completely. Add lemon juice and mix well.
  • Amla or Indian gooseberry juice is ready to serve.

Notes

  • Add the water as per the measurements given.
  • You can add sugar in case you don’t like honey.
  • Lemon juice helps to balance the bitterness in the amla.
