Lychee lemonade recipe is a refreshing & delightful drink that is tangy and sweet! It's a mixture of fresh lychees, lime juice, sugar, mint leaves & ice cubes.

Equipment

  • High-Speed Blender
  • Pitcher
  • Serving Glasses

Ingredients
  

  • 40 Lychees Peeled & Pitted
  • 2 tbsp Lemon Juice
  • 8 tsp Granulated White Sugar Or Adjust According To Your Taste
  • 8 Cups Of Cold Water
  • Lime Slices
  • Fresh Mint Leaves
  • Few Lychee Slices
  • Few Ice Cubes For Serving

Instructions
 

  • In a high-speed blender, add the lychees, lemon juice and sugars well.
  • Blend everything together to get a fine liquid consistency. But if you prefer, you can leave it slightly chunky or just make a coarse lychee paste.
  • Now, transfer this lychee paste into a large pitcher. Add the lime slices, mint leaves and water into the pitcher and give it a nice stir.
  • Check if the sugar and lime juice are perfect or else some more if required.
  • Next, add a few ice cubes into the serving glasses and then pour in the lychee lemonade.
  • Garnish with lime slices and mint leaves. Serve right away!

Notes

  • If you picked up fresh lychee fruits to make lemonade, peel off the skin and remove the pits. You may also increase or decrease the number of lychees depending on how fleshy they are. 
  • And if fresh lychees are not available, you can use frozen lychees, canned lychees or canned lychee juice. 
  • If you want your lychee lemonade to be smooth, then strain it using a fine mesh strainer. 
  • Instead of using water, you can even use club soda or sparkling water to make a frizzy version. 
  • You can use natural sweeteners such as agave syrup, maple syrup or honey.
