Mushroom Tea is a popular drink that can be made using various types of mushrooms & has a unique yet delicious taste. It is a must-try recipe for everyone!

Equipment

  • Medium-Sized Saucepan
  • Fine Mesh Strainer
  • Tea Cups

Ingredients
  

  • 4 g Of Dried Mushrooms Of Your Choice
  • 4 Cups Of Water
  • Lemon Juice Optional
  • Honey Or Any Sweetener Of Your Choice Optional

Instructions
 

  • Take the mushrooms of your choice and cut them into thin slices or small cubes.
  • In a medium-sized saucepan, add water and bring it to a boil.
  • Next, add the chopped mushrooms to the boiling water and let it simmer over low to medium heat for about 10 to 15 minutes.
  • Now take off the saucepan from the heat and strain the liquid using a fine mesh strainer directly into the tea cups.
  • Next, if you prefer, then you can add lemon juice, honey or any other type of sweetness as per your taste to the Mushroom tea. Or you can simply avoid adding any of these.
  • And that's it, your Mushroom Tea is ready to be enjoyed!

Notes

  • For making Mushroom Tea, you can use any type of mushroom like Chaga, Reishi and Lion’s Mane, the choice is yours! 
  • If you want, you can even make use of the pre-ground mushroom powder of your choice. 
  • If you want a strong flavour of the mushroom, then it's okay to extend the cooking time to 20 to 30 minutes. 
  • It depends on you if you want to discard the leftover mushrooms or reuse them.
