Notes

  • Feel free to use milk of your choice, like low-fat milk, full-fat milk, almond milk, soy milk, oats milk, or more.
  • I have used black tea powder in this recipe, however you can even use tea bags. Also, you can use different types of tea to make this recipe.
  • You can sweeten the cardamom tea using any sweetener of your choice, like white sugar, brown sugar, honey, maple syrup, or even no sweetener will work!
  • Also, you can add some black peppercorns or a cinnamon stick to enhance its flavour. However, I like the tea without these two so as to not affect the cardamom flavour.

Shelf Life

Cardamom tea is best when served hot, but if you want to store it, keep it in an airtight container to preserve its aroma & freshness and refrigerate. It will stay good for 1 or 2 days.

FAQ

Is It Okay To Drink Cardamom Tea Daily?

Cardamom comprises potassium, and it also holds anti-inflammatory properties, making it amazing for your overall health. Consuming cardamom tea in moderation can give you various health benefits like better blood circulation, regulating high blood pressure, and more.

How Long Should I Brew The Cardamom Tea?

Honestly, this totally depends on the tea type you are using and also on your taste preferences. Remember that brewing the tea for too long will make it bitter & if you brew it for less time, you might miss the exact flavour! I would suggest brewing the tea for at least 3 to 4 minutes.
