Ingredients
  

For Darjeeling Tea

  • 2 Cups Of Water
  • 2 tsp Darjeeling Tea Leaves Adjust As Per Your Liking
  • 1 tbsp Honey Optional
  • 1 tsp Crushed Ginger Optional

For Darjeeling Tea With Milk

  • 250 ml Milk Of Your Choice
  • 500 ml Water
  • 1 tbsp Darjeeling Tea Leaves
  • 4 tsp Sugar
  • 4 Cloves
  • 1 Cinnamon Stick
  • 4 Whole Cardamom Pods
  • 4 Black Peppercorns
  • 1 tsp Crushed Ginger Optional

Instructions
 

For Making Darjeeling Tea

  • In a tea kettle, add the water and bring it to a full boil.
  • Now, add Darjeeling tea leaves to the teapot. You can adjust the quantity according to your preference whether you like a mild tea or a strong one.
  • Add crushed ginger to get that extra flavor in your tea. However, it is completely optional.
  • Next, pour hot water into the teapot. Let it steep for 3 to 5 minutes so that the flavor gets infused into the water.
  • Remove the teapot strainer and then utilize a hand-held strainer to pour the Darjeeling tea into your tea cups.
  • If you want, you can add honey at this point and stir well.
  • Your Darjeeling tea is ready to enjoy!

For Making Darjeeling Tea With Milk

  • In a small saucepan, add water and bring it to a boil.
  • Next, add the Darjeeling tea leaves and let them simmer for 2 to 3 minutes.
  • Add the spices and then add sugar. Stir well and let it boil until the water is reduced by half.
  • Add the milk and stir. Allow it to boil for 2 minutes and turn off the gas.
  • Using a strainer, strain the Darjeeling tea into the tea cups.
  • Serve hot!

  • Choose Darjeeling tea leaves of good quality. You just know that it is harvested in three different flushes – first flush (March – May), second flush (June – August) & third flush (October – November). Each of them has a different flavor. Select the one that you like!
