Ingredients
  

  • 1 tbsp Crushed fennel seeds saunf
  • 1-2 cups Water
  • ½ tsp Honey
  • ½ tsp Crushed ginger
  • Mint leaves optional
  • Fennel seeds flavoured essence

Instructions
 

  • In a pot, boil the water. When it comes to boiling, add crushed fennel seeds.
  • Then add crushed ginger. Let the water simmer on medium to low flame until it is reduced to just one cup.
  • Turn off the gas and strain the fennel tea into a cup.
  • To add flavour to the fennel tea, add honey, mint leaves and the flavoured essence of fennel seeds.
  • Mix well and serve the fennel tea hot.

Notes

  • If you prefer, you can also add cumin seeds and coriander seeds.
  • Other ingredient options are lemon juice, basil, and mint leaves, that taste delicious.
  • You can use powdered sugar instead of honey.
  • Cinnamon can be added to spice up your fennel seed tea.
